Calcium after your Mini Gastric Bypass

After your weight loss surgery, you will also absorb less calcium, and your body truly cannot do without it! Calcium is an essential nutrient that helps maintain strong bones and teeth and contributes to the normal functioning of your muscles. The required amount of calcium depends on your surgery. Important

Calcium is not included in Elan’s Supreme products because calcium inhibits iron absorption. There should be at least 2 hours between taking Elan’s Supreme and calcium products to give your body sufficient time to absorb the iron properly.
