Calcium after your sleeve gastrectomy

After your weight loss surgery, you will also absorb less calcium, and your body absolutely cannot do without calcium! Calcium is an essential nutrient that helps maintain strong bones and teeth and supports normal muscle function. The required amount of calcium depends on your surgery. Important

Calcium is not included in Elan’s Believe products because calcium interferes with iron absorption. There should be at least a 2-hour gap between taking Believe and Elan’s calcium products to allow your body adequate time to absorb the iron.
